| Dale Dauten | Arizona | |
![]() "I hated to see it end." That was how the late Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's, reacted upon reading his first Dale Dauten book. And that is Dale's goal with every speech and seminar: not only to hold the audience's attention, but to keep minds open and pens writing, start to finish. "Hear it today and use it tomorrow." That is how Dale describes his program content. He adds, "I write two columns a week. That means that every week - literally, every week - I'm meeting innovators and reporting on new ideas or better ways to implement old ones. Plus, I have the experiences from my consulting work. So when I go to design a program, I have hundreds of examples and case studies to choose from, nearly all of which are available nowhere else." Dale is the founder of The Innovators' Lab®, an organization devoted to testing new ideas in marketing and management. Member organizations include Caterpillar, Avnet, NASA and General Dynamics. In addition to his five books, Dale authors two newspaper columns, both syndicated by King Features: "The Corporate Curmudgeon" and "Kate and Dale Talk Jobs." They appear in over 100 newspapers around the country. Dale's experiences as a manager with two major corporations, an executive with two consulting companies, head of his own nationally-known marketing research firm and founder of a creativity consulting organization have allowed him the opportunity to work with companies of all sizes. Further, his writing has given him the opportunity to meet with and interview top business leaders, innovative management thinkers, as well as coaches and political figures. Dale's unique background, combined with his lifelong interest in creativity and his love of a good story allow him to bring to life the lessons of great organizations in practical, accessible and memorable fashion. |
